Imaan

Welfare Services

Imaan receives many requests for help and advice on a broad range of subjects from 'coming out' and family relationships between parents and children, to domestic abuse and immigration issues.

We have social-care professionals who donate their time and energy to Imaan and our members. We also work closely with other experts and agencies and can try to advise people on how to access the help and resources they need.

We have prepare a number of factsheets, each of them containing some practical advice, links to specialist organisations and, importantly, telephone numbers and advice for anyone requiring emergency assistance.

We cannot yet offer a helpline of our own, but we can try to help and counsel on a one-to-one basis in any non-emergency situation. Anyone can email us at welfare@imaan.org.uk

Please try to give us as much information about your concerns as you can.

Tell us how we can contact you safely. You can leave a phone number, but tell us if it is OK for voicemail or text messages to be left on that number.
